NEW YORK – June 24, 2024 – FOX News Media will showcase its signature Proud American franchise series in honor of Independence Day with an array of patriotic-themed programming. Presented by Tunnel to Towers, the special programming will be broadcast live on Thursday, July 4th and feature Proud American segments across the FOX News Media platforms.
FNC’s co-hosts Carley Shimkus, Lawrence Jones, Aishah Hasnie and Johnny Joey Jones will present a two-hour live program from FOX Square in New York City beginning at 8 PM entitled The Big Independence Day Special. The show will include live fireworks from Washington, D.C., Bristol, Rhode Island, and Point Pleasant, NJ along with patriotic musical performances from former police officer and reclaimed country music artist Frank Ray. Patriotic messages from veterans and viewers will be broadcast live during the segment.
Throughout the special coverage, FOX Nation’s Abby Hornacek will be live in Bristol, Rhode Island for the town’s Oldest Independence Celebration in the Nation parade. She will interview the General Chairman Camille Teixeira as well as WWII Veterans throughout the parade route.
Additionally, FOX News Audio will present three, one-hour specials in honor of the 4th of July holiday including The Brian Kilmeade Show: Give Kids a Healthier, Happier Childhood by Taking Away the Smartphone, Jason Chaffetz Podcast: Jason in the House, and The Politics of Patriotism, which will all be available for download on the FOX Radio Affiliate Network. Additionally, the specials will be available on Apple Podcasts subscription channel FOX News Podcasts+. FOX News Radio will feature radio reporter Tonya J. Powers and a team of correspondents for a week of special reports to mark the holiday. Beginning on July 1st, The Proud American Series will be released to affiliates and the FOX News SiriusXM channel celebrating those who have fought for the country’s freedom.
