“Cooking with Friends” Marks the Eighth Title for FOX News Books, First Cookbook for Imprint
NEW YORK – July 25, 2023 – FOX News Books, the publishing imprint for FOX News Media, will release its eighth book on Tuesday, October 10th, titled “Cooking with Friends,” by FOX & Friends First co-host Carley Shimkus. Filled with recipes and photos from America’s favorite FOX & Friends crew, the cookbook will feature dishes from network personalities and special guests, along with the stories behind them.
In commenting on the announcement, Shimkus remarked, “Growing up in the kitchen with my family, food has always been a focal point of traditions and memories and I am beyond excited to be able to share my FOX family’s favorite dishes in this new book. I have always loved spending time in the kitchen and being a foodie myself, know these tried-and-true dishes will not disappoint!”
Following seven back-to-back New York Times bestsellers, “Cooking with Friends” marks the publishing imprint’s first cookbook. With flavors spanning Shimkus’ Puerto Rican and Polish-Lithuanian background to all-American flavors like tater tot casserole, the title will feature memorable dishes and photos from the FOX & Friends family, including Steve Doocy, Brian Kilmeade, Ainsley Earhardt, Rachel Campos-Duffy, Pete Hegseth and Janice Dean. Additionally, FNC’s Martha MacCallum, Shannon Bream, Bret Baier, Johnny Joey Jones, Jeanine Pirro, among many others will contribute, sharing their recipes along with colorful stories about their special meaning.
Since the installment of FOX News Books in 2020, the imprint, which includes Hegseth’s “Modern Warriors: Real Stories from Real Heroes,” Shannon Bream’s “The Women of the Bible Speak” (March 2021), “All American Christmas” by Rachel Campos-Duffy and Sean Duffy (November 2021), “The Mothers and Daughters of the Bible Speak” (March 2022), “Faith Still Move Mountains” by Harris Faulkner (October 2022), “The Love Stories of the Bible Speak” (March 2023) and most recently, Johnny Joey Jones’ “Unbroken Bonds of Battle” (June 2023), has sold more than 2 million copies. Shimkus also appears on FOX & Friends, FNC’s signature morning show, providing viewers with social media trends, political and entertainment news and consumer business news of the day.
