June 26, 2024 – Brace yourselves, entrepreneurs! Fitness guru Joe Wicks and beauty mogul Trinny Woodall join Series 22 of Dragons’ Den as Guest Dragons, with Emma Grede returning after her successful stint last series.
Joe Wicks MBE, better known as The Body Coach, is a pioneer of the health and wellness industry. Owing to the huge success of his online HIIT workouts, recipes, best-selling books, 90 Day Plan and award-winning fitness app, he has gained global recognition and acclaim. Joe’s career began when he launched a successful bootcamp and personal training business, attracting clients by handing out flyers on the street. Inspired by the sense of fulfilment he felt from helping his clients reach their fitness goals, he took to social media to share 15-second videos of meals which took 15-minutes to make. This series quickly attracted a large following and inspired Joe’s first book – Lean in 15. Since publishing his first in 2015, he has gone on to sell more than 4 million books. Joe became an internet sensation during the pandemic, when he became ‘PE teacher to the nation’ and performed daily, live-streamed family workouts which awarded him an MBE for services to fitness and charity. He has raised millions for charities through initiatives such as his 24 Hour Workout Challenge for Children in Need.
Joe says: “I can’t wait to step into the Den as a Guest Dragon and meet all the brilliant and passionate entrepreneurs. My own journey has shown me that with the right mindset and a lot of hard work, anything is possible. I’m really looking forward to sharing my experiences and hopefully helping some amazing businesses reach their full potential.”
Trinny Woodall is the founder and CEO of global, digital-first beauty brand, Trinny London.
