Prime Video January 2025 Movie and TV Titles Announced

Published: December 23, 2024 — Prime Video has announced the lineup of movies and TV shows that will be available on the service in January. The Prime Video January 2025 lineup includes new Amazon original movies, TV shows, and specials.

Members can look forward to The Calendar Killer, Harlem Season 3, Molly-Mae: Behind It All, The Rig Season 2, Tribunal Justice Season 2, Undercover Party Crasher, Unstoppable, You’re Cordially Invited, and more.

The Prime Video January 2025 programming includes the following Originals.

The Rig Season 2 (2025 – Streaming January 2)

The second series of The Rig sees the surviving crew of the Kinloch Bravo arrive at a new secret offshore facility called the Stac, nestled deep in the extraordinary and deadly landscapes of the Arctic Circle. Here, the trapped crew must deal with the emotional and physical fallout of the devastating tsunami that destroyed the Bravo and contends with swirling conspiracies, corporate conflicts, and new threats from the dark depths of the world’s ocean.

The second series will continue exploring global themes – weaving together the planet’s past, present, and future while taking the viewer to spectacular environments and drawing on the frontiers of cutting-edge ocean technology – including the controversial world of deep-sea mining.

The Calendar Killer (2025 – Streaming January 16)

When Jules starts his shift on the escort phone, a telephone support line for women to get home safely, everything looks like a quiet Saturday evening. That is until he receives a call from a young mother named Klara, who claims that she will die that very night at the hands of a notorious female killer.

He has given her an ultimatum: either she kills her husband or she will be murdered tonight. So begins Klara’s desperate escape from the so-called Calendar Killer – with Jules on the phone, who is her only hope of salvation.

Unstoppable (2025 – Streaming January 16)

Unstoppable is the inspiring true story of Anthony Robles (Jharrel Jerome) who was born with one leg but whose indomitable spirit and unbreakable resolve empowered him to defy the odds and pursue his dreams.

The movie features an ensemble cast that includes Jharrel Jerome, Bobby Cannavale, Michael Peña, Don Cheadle, and Jennifer Lopez. Anthony Robles, who is seen in the film and credited as “Anthony Robles Double,” performed the complex wrestling moves and stunts.

Molly-Mae: Behind It All (2025 – Streaming January 17)

This documentary will take viewers beyond the headlines to uncover the real Molly-Mae, following her journey after her highly publicized breakup. We’ll see Molly-Mae adapt to the challenges of motherhood, all while preparing to launch her biggest business venture to date: ‘Maebe’.

In this intimate look, we uncover how these experiences have shaped her into the powerhouse entrepreneur she is today. Balancing the demands of motherhood, the weight of her brand’s success, and the high stakes of her latest business launch, this documentary offers an unfiltered glimpse into her strength and ambition. This is Molly-Mae as we’ve never seen her before – raw, real and redefining what it means to thrive under intense public scrutiny.

The Liberation (2025 – Streaming January 17)

Three women join forces to avoid a sexual harassment complaint against a renowned movie director comes to light. This controversial mission will take them to the doors of a group, which will take them on an inward journey: to a medieval village where their patriarchal wounds are represented.

Undercover Party Crasher (2025 – Streaming January 17)

A socially awkward cop infiltrates a high school trip to gather information that can help her dismantle a criminal organization.

Harlem Season 3 (2025 – Streaming January 23)

After a shocking Season Two finale cliffhanger left audiences on the edge of their seats, Harlem Season 3 will follow the core four women on the precipice of change like never before.

Tribunal Justice Season 2 (2025 – Streaming January 27)

Tribunal Justice, a courtroom series created and executive produced by television and judicial icon Judge Judy Sheindlin, features a panel of three dynamic judges adjudicating real and compelling cases.

It is followed by a lively and spirited deliberation, where the judges don’t always see eye-to-eye, which makes for an exciting verdict.

You’re Cordially Invited (2025 – Streaming January 30)

When two weddings are accidentally booked on the same day at the same venue, each bridal party is challenged with preserving their family’s special moment while making the most of the unanticipated tight quarters.

In a hilarious battle of determination and grit, the father of the bride (Will Ferrell) and sister of the other bride (Reese Witherspoon) chaotically go head-to-head as they stop at nothing to uphold an unforgettable celebration for their loved ones.

NFL Wild Card Game (2024 – Streaming January 11 or 12)
Prime Video will stream its first-ever NFL Wild Card playoff game.

FAST CHANNELS

Prime Video offers more than 500 FAST Channels in the U.S., including curated, thematically programmed channels, such as popular movies and TV shows; channels featuring Originals such as Judy Justice and Bosch; and syndicated channels from partners across an array of genres. This lean-back experience is available to Prime and non-Prime members at no cost, with new channels added every month. All channels can be accessed through the Prime Video app, as well as within Fire TV.

MGM Award-Winning Movies (Streaming January 1) – A three-month pop-up channel to coincide with awards season, featuring all of MGM’s rich legacy of Golden Globe, BAFTA and Academy Award-nominated and winning movies (44 titles in total). The channel will be configured to tie in with cultural moments like Valentine’s Day, The Oscars and Women’s History Month.

Play & Win (Streaming January 3) – A new channel based on Prime Video originals from Winning Wednesdays. New episodes are available 28 days from release (as opposed to the current 2-year window). The channel is designed to push interested non-viewers to watch new episodes of Are You Smarter, Pop Culture Jeopardy and (once launched) American Gladiators on PV, whilst also monetizing the assets further while they are culturally relevant.

Are You Smarter? (Streaming January 7) – A new channel featuring nothing but episodes of Are You Smarter Than A Fifth-Grader and new episodes of Are You Smarter Than A Celebrity.

Wipeout (The Walt Disney Company – Streaming January 7) – Daredevil contestants of all ages, shapes and sizes go head-to-head in four rounds of this demanding, hilarious competition show that takes place on the world’s largest (and most unforgiving) obstacle course – all to snare a sizable cash prize.

MGM Celebrates Black Cinema (Streaming January 21) – A pop-up channel for Black History Month based upon MGM’s rich legacy of Black cinema.

NBA (Streaming January 21) – The NBA FAST channel includes classic games, highlights & recaps, documentaries, original series, studio shows, and interviews from the NBA.
