T•R•T (The Right Time)
After touring with Supermax, becoming an International BEFFTA Award London nominee, hitting the stage at O2 Islington, spearheading an Afro Industry concert, performing at Capital Jazz Fest, and interviewing with Sky TV’s Pauline Long, the Nigerian, Vienna-raised, London-based Afrobeat, Dancehall, and RnB fusionist, Adline Owens has culminated all of her talent and creativity in her two-track release, T•R•T (The Right Time).
Working with Areaboizilly on the production and Viva Cee on mixing and mastering, Adline Owens dropped a fervent fire of liberating Afro-Soul with the double A-Side single.
Track 1, ‘In Yeah’, kicks off the release with an emotionally charged session of Afro-Soul; as the dancehall pulse pushes momentum into the mix, Owens seduces the listener into knowing their worth.
Track 2, Dem Wah Know, raises the energy with magnetically kinetic Reggaeton rhythms and fierce-with-fortitude vocals which blaze throughout the fusionist cultural tapestry, marking Owens as an artist who won’t let her roots define her legacy, but how she celebrates and innovates with them with affecting authenticity.

Adline Owens said:
“T•R•T is a project that holds great personal significance for me, showcasing my range across Afrobeats, Dancehall, and R&B, which underlines my identity as a fusion artist.
Track 1, ‘In Yeah’, explores the love and understanding shared in a relationship that still leaves you wanting more effort. This track vocalises the need for personal growth and the tough decisions you must sometimes make for your sanity. It portrays the protagonist’s struggle with a partner who lacks ambition and motivation—essentially a dead weight needing to be let go.
Track 2, Dem Wah Know, I wrote while reflecting on obstacles and my journey as an artist. It focuses on resilience, self-belief, and the importance of stepping up despite the odds being stacked against you. It’s an empowering anthem and a reminder not to let haters dictate your success.”

“With a gravitational force that could knock the solar system out of orbit, Adline Owen is an iconic phenomenon in her own right, leading a revolution in autonomous self-determination.”
