Dunedin-born, London based artist Len Blake makes her UK debut with “Like That” on November 17, produced and co written by billion list awardee Josh Fountain (BENEE, LEISURE) and co produced with Matt Wills (Charlotte Plank, EV).
Blake’s upcoming release comes hot on the heels of her domestic NZ Waita Anthems release “Te Piringa”, a top-20 placement on the NZ Hot Singles charts, and accompanying mini documentary. “Like That” follows her independent 2021 EP “Honeyblood”, which quickly made waves, racking up over 450,000 streams, and scoring her a supporting spot for Jordan Rakei, and shows at festivals such as Rhythm & Vines and Tora Bombora. Blake’s latest release sits in the vocal world of Cleo Sol, Corinne Bailey Rae and Lianne La Havas, carried on a groove belonging to the likes of Jorja Smith and Amber Mark. The result is an addictive, highly listenable track that’s impossible to overplay.
